Y’all, folks are on serious overload right now.
There’s just so much happening—at work and in the world. Return-to-office mandates. Layoffs. Government shutdowns. Tariffs. American citizens being unlawfully detained. Military in our streets.
Closer to home, I keep hearing about friends, colleagues, and parents battling cancer, heart attacks, and dementia.
It’s … a lot.
And so much of it is invisible to us. We never really know the weight someone is carrying. Chances are, we’re all carrying more than we show.
The very least we can do is be kind to each other.
If you’re struggling right now, please know that it’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to step back, to take the time and space to care for yourself.
It’s okay to give yourself a little grace.

PS: Speaking of taking time for yourself—I wrapped up my job at Amazon a week ago and am currently enjoying a belated honeymoon in Japan before starting my next big adventure. I’m grateful for the chance to unplug … and just be.
